Cleaning out these clogs may provide a temporary solution but the pipe will then need to be excavated and ultimately, replaced. Sewer Tree Root Infiltration

Nature is beautiful, is it not? The fact that actual tree roots can actively seek water through the ground and start to grow into your sewer line is pretty incredible!

That image disappears though when you consider those tree roots might be actively looking for waste water leaking from your sewage pipe.

Small hairline cracks in the sewer pipe can release water into the surrounding soil. It is more than enough to attract tree roots. As the tree roots find their way inside the pipe, they can clog up the entire line.
